Kia ora & Hi, I’m Shona 👋

I’m a Kiwi-born Aussie with a love for life, adventure, and meaningful connection. Like many of you, I lead a full and active life but I also treasure those moments of calm that keep me grounded. Whether it’s relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book, catching a movie solo, or spending a quiet day on the beach soaking up the sun and the sound of the waves, I always make time to recharge and reconnect with myself.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’m a proud mum to three amazing daughters, Kylie, Amy, and Grace, and a very lucky grandma to six (and a half!) energetic, joy-filled grandchildren who keep me young at heart. I’m also wife to my biggest cheerleader, lovingly nicknamed Brown Sugar, who’s always encouraged me to “have a go.” So here I am, embracing new adventures, following my passions, and loving every step of the journey.

The Story Behind Shona & Co Collective

If you’ve ever found yourself rummaging through your bag, juggling three different glasses cases (sunnies, reading specs, distance glasses…) only to open the wrong one first – you’ll know the struggle of finding the right pair is real.

So in 2021, the idea for The Duo Glasses Case was born: a smart, stylish solution that keeps two pairs of glasses safe in one neat pouch. No more rummaging, no more handbag chaos – just simplicity that looks good. Though there were similiar cases on the market, nothing floated my boat, they lacked personality & style, were flimsy and didn’t live up to their hype.

After months of trialling, testing and perfecting prototypes, our first collection launched in 2022. Since then, we’ve been designing new prints to make everyday life a little easier (and a lot more stylish). Our prints are a little bit quirky, fierce & a little bit fun. We hope you find one that suits your personality and style.
